Past Presidents
In 1969, the TMBA went dormant for about a year when several mergers between commercial banks and local mortgage companies occurred. The TMBA became active again in 1971 with Lamar Foley of Lamar Foley Company as president. The organization went along for several years in much the same manner as it did in the late 1960’s. As the TMBA grew and matured, its organization and administration began evolving into a more sophisticated form. It was in the late 1970’s that the TMBA reached the point in this organizational evolution that we are at today.
